Fly did not visit the Pit, but still uses the +1 bonus for his soft tires. I commented this after his turn 26, there was no reaction. In turn 28 he again adds the +1. Subtracting these two tiles he would not have reached the last curve.

he couldn't be if You also take the wrong Turn 26 into account. But it will be difficult to roll back 3 turns.
